Hey all,

I have a template worked out for making banners for ToV/ToH (you can see an example of such with my . I'm willing to put them together for people here on the forums, but will require some things from you.

Note: My signature shows both my mains from FFXI and FFXIV. People who are only members of Tales of Vana'diel can also get a signature made that will just have the ToV logo and more pictures of their ToV character. So, this is not a dual member only thing.

Here are the things I would like:

1. Pictures (with direct links to images, please) that you would like to appear on your signature, with a rating regarding the priority that you would like the specific image to appear (reason why explained below). Pictures can include in-game art, as well as fan art. Images should be of pretty good quality. If for some reason you aren't able to get a good quality shot, perhaps due to system limitations, let me know and I can work with you and we will get you a high-quality picture of some kind (I can come find you in the game and take it myself, etc.)

2. Character's handwriting font: Please provide the name of the font that your character would use as their handwriting for their name. As you can see on my signature, both Avina and Blade's names are written in different fonts, which correspond to their IC writing style. It's just a little neat touch, I think. If your font is nonstandard and not included by default with Windows or Photoshop, please provide a download link (as direct as possible) of where I can download the font.

Considerations and Artistic Judgement:

There will likely be some variability and I reserve to go with my artistic judgement when making some of these. Sometimes, it may just look better to go with fewer images than it will be to squeeze a bunch in. The locations of the logos will be moved to best compliment and not interfere with the picture's content. Basically, if you send me three or four pictures and you only see two in your finished banner, its because the contrast between the images was too great and would interfere with the logos looking right.

These also aren't things that I want to rush. I'll try to do them in the order that I receive them. If there are problems like broken links, or that you request a font that isn't standard that I'd need to look for and download, yours may be delayed and I may complete someone else's ahead of yours who has their stuff in order. Basically, the easier you make it for me to do it, the faster it will get done.

Updating Your Banner:

Try to select pictures that you'll like in your banner for awhile. Generally speaking I'm going to prioritize those who are missing a banner before I work on updating a banner. Try not to make it a super regular thing. If you submit me something every time you get a new set of gear, I might get a little bit vexed.

Updating on Your Own:

If you have Photoshop and are savvy with graphical design, I'm more than happy to send you the template so you can update it at your leisure.
