To make it funnier, I thought this would be cool to be written IC (The very last question is OOC, but you can RP your RL self suddenly showing up), as an interview from some pesky researcher. Enjoy!

Kenjii: To me!? I bet he's a spy.

Roy: Nu-huh. He even has a badge and all…! He was sent from Bastok to interview us.

Kenjii: Well tough luck! I'm not answering a damn thin– HEY! Why are you tying me up!?

Roy: You're bed ridden, I have to go out to find Sophe, and I can't pay a baby sitter. I'm sure this company will suffice, and these handcuffs will make sure you don't try and get away from it.

Kenjii: THIS IS NOT FAIR!

Roy: And your medicine! *shoves a glass of… something down Kenjii's throat*

Kenjii: *gulps* What was that? It had a suspicious flavor.

Roy: The worst it tastes, the healthier it is. *whispers at the Tarutaru* Don't worry, that was alcohol. It will help him spill the beans…!

Kenjii: What's unethical!?

Roy: A word you've yet to learn…! *walks up to the door* Have fun you two, I'll be back in a hour for my turn!

Roy: Hey Asgard, chill. Consider it your fee for my medical assistance! *rushes outside, slamming the door shut. A locking sound can be heard*

Kenjii: *grumbles* … Sephirya Idavoll was my mother. She was a singer… I don't remember how she was. And my father is… *twitches* An asshole, and a traitor. Mathias Asgard, a self-proclaimed knight of the Republican Army with some modest goldsmithing skills.

Kenjii: *rolls eyes* Zenji? Or rather Samuel… He's just a pompous idiot, all too similar to Mustang and Mirror for my liking. Even though he's mute, he'd always manage to piss me off. Crap happened, so I have no idea where he is.


???: 5.Where do you live now, and with whom? Describe the place and the people.

Kenjii: I live by myself. I'm an adventurer, so I don't have a real home. Mog House and rent-a-rooms are enough for me. I used to have a Moogle, but Avina screwed it up and now I gotta take care of my apartment by myself. Good riddance though, I like my personal space.

Kenjii: Right now…? I'm mainly a mercenary of the Salaheem Sentinels… damn that Mithra. In private, I'm a goldsmith, but I haven't received any commission in a while. Probably because nobody knows me here. In the Middle Lands I am a part of an adventuring organization, the Siren's Sword, as well as a member of the Tenshodo. Sometimes I've been asked to assist the Republic as a freelance too.

???: I can. But I want to see how much you actually look at yourself. For research. You'd be surprised of how different one's description of themselves differs from how others see him.

Kenjii: *snorts* Fine… Well I'm not short. It's the others that are too tall. I have no idea what my weight is, but I was never called fat either… I'm a Hume as far as I can tell. My hair is dark chestnut, and I keep them at neck length, fringe split in the center. My eyes are blue (and too many people have made a big deal about it for my liking), but I don't remember their shape, since I don't really care. I prefer to wear practical stuff that doesn't hinder me in a fight. I had no tattoos until a while ago, but I've got one now on the back of my neck. No one can see it, so I'm not gonna bother describing it. With some luck I managed to not get too many scars, though I have a rather ugly one striding my right shoulder. Is that enough?

Kenjii: … Show Spoiler Y'know, with all that goldsmithing and crap… I inherited such title when I was born, for because of stuff happening I ended up giving away all my belongings. Can't say I have a poor life however. So I think that puts me in the middle class.

Kenjii: I have no idea about allergies. My right shoulder is still recovering from an old wound, and doesn't allow me to lift heavy weapons, forcing me to quit being a samurai. Also, I seem unable to resist alcohol…

Part 2: Growing Up

Kenjii: My childhood…? *thinks* … I don't think I ever thought about having one. I guess I was too busy taking care of my brother. Besides, the plays with other kids annoyed me.

Kenjii: … My father's face. I'm not sure why he was looking at me. I was sometime before my mother's death. He looked like he was appraising me.

Kenjii: Never went to public school. Mr. Korghan took care of my education, until the Tenshodo took me in. From there on, I was kind of a self-taught person.

Kenjii: Mr. Korghan's teachings? Not so much. It was mostly history stuff. I don't think history has any utility in everyday life. *shrugs* Master Ryoma's training though.. that was dreadful, but effective.

Kenjii: Norg, and the surrounding jungle of Elshimo. Me and the others would often be sent out there on survival training.

Kenjii: I never had a model. Models are for pansies who can't decide for themselves.

Kenjii: … My brother and I were fine, until we stumbled into that Elvaan bitch, Kjara. Things went downhill from there, and eventually we parted ways.

Kenjii: I don't really remember much about myself as a kid. People would often complain of my hard head though, and called me arrogant and grumpy. … Now that I think about it, some of them still do.

Kenjii: I wasn't in Bastok, and my only friends were my brother, Ayuki and Lenina. Ayuki is a timid, helpless Mithra. Lenina instead, she was a strict, serious girl, older than me. My popularity seemed to increase in Norg, mainly because there weren't many kids around, so if something weird would happen, I'd often be involved. I spent most of my time there with Zeti-Reti and Cire: we shared a mentor in Far Eastern arts.

Kenjii: Well, of course it changes depending on how well I know them. But I like my space, and prefer people who respect that. There's no need to know everything about your friends or teammates, nor about me. Long as they don't get invasive, I won't walk away from them.

The nerves… And she enjoys what she does! Always smiling like nothing's wrong, giving you that weird sense of comfort, like everything is okay, and always showing up those legs…!

Kenjii: …That's an odd one. Moving to Aht Urhgan changed my daily routine drastically. Normally I wake up, get some breakfast, then go outside to train until Avina finds me to drag me somewhere. Usually to do mercenary work, but sometimes she'll train with me instead. If nothing happens, I just wait till I get too tired, and then go watch some fights in the Pit until dinner time is up. Can't quite tell how I feel about disrupted routine. I guess it depends on what is disrupting it. But in general, I'm annoyed.

Growing up with that sort of mindset all around, it’s hard for it not to be imprinted one someone. Draen: … I threatened Kenjii and Avina once that I was going to lock them in a room alone together and only open the door again when the screaming – good or bad – ends. Draen: … Yes. I think I am… I haven’t yet, but… if there’s someone who has no chance of redemption or rehabilitation and the moment they’re let go they won’t hesitate to start hurting others again… I’d do it. I almost did it once, but I got distracted from it.

(It has been about a week since he has rested, but sleep finally overcomes poor, weary Seraphaelle. This night, however, will greet him with a queer encounter that he has been running from for quite some time.)
