Although optional, assaults have been incorporated in the RP Aht Urhgan storyline, with the objective of having us be ranked as Captains by the time we reach the end of the plot. However, everyone has RL issues in which they cannot attend RP, and assaults are not soloable yet, so some have missed it despite their best wishes.

So here's the thing: As I'd like to achieve assault wins on my second toon, I'd like to set up an OOC assaults static catch-up, starting from the very beginning (T1s). If you are interested, be it just for OOC or also for IC purposes, or just want to help, sign up here.

The requirements are lv60 or above, and of course the required mission progress to undertake assaults. If you miss runic portals contact me in-game and I'll help you get there. The static schedule will be discussed after at least two more have signed up in this thread, so please post your availability here!
To be an interesting, intriguing, well-written character, there needs to be something to allow the audience to relate to them. That is what the problem is with who wants their character to be "perfect". Perfect characters will never be strong, and strong characters will never be perfect, because WE (those who read, who watch, who RP) are not perfect.

I'm in, especially for any Atoll ones (got gear I want for RP in there)… Imperial Agent Rescue, lets make sure we get as many people into it that need it, so we don't have to do it that often >_<

When the hero enters to kill me, I will ask him to first explain to my grandchild why it is necessary to kill her beloved grandma. When the hero launches into an explanation of morality way over her head, that will be her cue to pull the lever and send him into the pit of crocodiles. After all, small children like crocodiles almost as much as Evil Overlords and it's important to spend quality time with the grandkids.

"How hard did you hit him?"
"Quite hard, actually. For some reason he irritated me." They stared back to where the Grolim lay.
"You're getting to be more like Belgarath every day," Silk told him. "You do more damage out of simple irritation than most men can do in a towering rage."

I'd be up for it but for there to be any type of guarantee that I'd be able to make it it'd have to be scheduled for midnight Eastern Time. Since I doubt anyone else can attend at such a silly time I guess you can put me down for "Will help if I can be on."

EXPing is really not something we can help with much anymore. My suggestion to go up fast is go do Grounds of Valor (Gusgen Mines, Crawler Nest etc. depending on your level and how much you care about keeping skills up vs job levels), and to try attend as many besiegeds as you can for the good exp reward. You won't hit mobs in Besieged till your late 60s, but you can already make a lot of good exp there by spamming fail-proof spells such as Bio, elemental spells and healing magic on players/NPCs. Hell, you get exp there just by using the temporary items too.
