I think I've seen one of these before here, KJ said something about having one. But, could be fun to make/update a character relationship chart. For anyone who might not know what I'm talking about here's an example from one of my favorite TV shows :3

Relationship Chart

To be an interesting, intriguing, well-written character, there needs to be something to allow the audience to relate to them. That is what the problem is with who wants their character to be "perfect". Perfect characters will never be strong, and strong characters will never be perfect, because WE (those who read, who watch, who RP) are not perfect.

@-@ Its so big…

I am giggling over the Farseer icon… first glance, I thought it was The Laughing Man.
–––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––
When the hero enters to kill me, I will ask him to first explain to my grandchild why it is necessary to kill her beloved grandma. When the hero launches into an explanation of morality way over her head, that will be her cue to pull the lever and send him into the pit of crocodiles. After all, small children like crocodiles almost as much as Evil Overlords and it's important to spend quality time with the grandkids.

"How hard did you hit him?"
"Quite hard, actually. For some reason he irritated me." They stared back to where the Grolim lay.
"You're getting to be more like Belgarath every day," Silk told him. "You do more damage out of simple irritation than most men can do in a towering rage."

Kirious should have so many red lines coming off of him, that he looks like the sun.

Thanks for the comments guys.

This is obviously a work in progress that I'll try to keep up to date. The newcomers don't have arrows yet because relationships still have to form, sorry about that^^

I'm trying to fix it so if you've got suggestions, feel free <_< and Kiri, you've got to tell me WHO you think hates Kirious or Kiri hates. He treats everybody the same, so it's hard to tell.

Oh wow, what a mess that is. Impressive, but hard to follow. I'm gonna play around with it, see if i can't neaten it up. That okay, Kj?

Am a little puzzled though as to why the only connection I have is to Zeti… I thought I was doing better than that considering the time I've been a part of the linkshell. Hell, there's apparently no connection between her and Kenjii at all, that… that's confusing.

I think it has more to do with the way the categories are worded. There isn't really a 'friend' category, otherwise I think there would be far more lines in general. There's a very wide range between being a stranger and being a close friend. So if you don't have a lot of 'close friend' lines pointing at you yet, don't fret, because that doesn't mean that the others feel… well, nothing towards your character. For example, Burald really actually thinks that Draenen is actually alright, but there isn't a category for that, and I wouldn't consider them close buds either. So the lack of a connection between Muriru and Kenjii could be positive almost–it would suggest despite how he outwardly acts towards her, he doesn't actually really dislike her. He's just not particularly /close/ to her

That being said, a couple more lines could be stemming off of Avina I think. I think Avina considers Muriru a close friend, as well as Obtili and Saerun. She likes Kaolla, but its a little bit complicated, and hard to say they are very 'close' persay.

This is a particularly delicate thing to do. As Avina pointed out, I didn't put lines for average friendship or neutrality or disliking: that would turn the chart into a real mess. The only ties I've put were very strong ones.

About close friendship, the parameter I used to decide who is a close friend and who isn't, were my memories of seeing the two characters together, or looking for each other, wondering about the others' feelings/health, or overall helping each other in at least several occasions.

Regarding hate, I didn't put much because I was afraid to offend someone by putting a hatred they felt wasn't there between their character and another. Again, my character seems to have more lines than others only because I know him perfectly, and am not afraid to.. well.. offend myself.

Feel free to copy my file and edit it, long as you don't delete lines between characters that don't belong to you. Also please post it as a different link rather than overwriting mine, just so I can check the differences.

Edit: Updated chart with Avina's corrections. Write more suggestions to see them edited!
