The camera shutter clicked as the film recorded the image. A hume girl and an elvaan man sat beneath a large oak tree, reading, just as a leaf was falling from the tree above them. The image was captured, and Sobe smiled softly to herself. She couldn't wait to head back to develop that. She placed the camera strap over her shoulder, the camera itself hanging at her side, like a purse. Except infinitely more expensive.
As she turn, she caught a glimpse of a fellow senior and elvaan. Tall, long white hair, also a member of the photography club. Was he following her again…? With a huff, she turned and quickly headed back inside.
“Hey, Sobe!” Sobe's eye twitched, and she slowly turned around to see her half sister running up to her. She nearly growled in annoyance.
“I believe that's Miss Sakimoto to you, Ms. Sakimoto.” The young counselor pouted.
“Oh come on, no need to be so distant! Come on, want to come to my office and talk?” Saerun was blocking the way with her perfect smile, and perfectly complimenting outfit. Even her nails were painted matching colors! Sobe pushed by, glaring daggers at her, shoving her shoulder with her own as she passed. Saerun reached for her shoulder.
“No.” Sobe shrugged off the hand. Saerun stood in the hallway, staring after Sobe, her happy grin slowly fading into a dejected one.
“Um, well… okay…”

As Sobe reached the developing room, she sighed and smiled slightly. “Finally…” She reached towards her side, to grab the camera.
Only to grasp at thin air.
“. . .”
She glanced at her side to see absolutely nothing. Then she remembered how her sister had grabbed her shoulder earlier – exactly where the camera strap had been. Her eye twitched, and a vein appeared on her forehead.
“DAMN IT, SAE!”
