Summary:
Kenjii brings Hakkaii to the new Siren's Sword HQ to get the roof repaired, just to find out that Avina has sneaked in from the window and opened the door to let other members bring in all kinds of furnishings. As always the girl is rushing things, despite Kenjii's repeated calls to wait, as the place is not ready yet. After some discussion, Zeti-Reti arrives with Muriru. The Tarutaru just arrived from the Tenshodo with his new pass to Aht Urhgan, and Kenjii is quick to bring the topic up. Avina is obviously annoyed by the topic, and gets feisty. After the usual bickering, Kenjii exits the place, heading for Jeuno to get his own pass.

Muriru and Zeti-Reti catch up with Kenjii, trying to get him to a reasonable demeanor, but the ninja seems to only get more and more irritable as they speak. Meanwhile, Avina finds her Ducal Guard Ring and decides to use it in an attempt to intercept and destroy the passports to Aht Urhgan before Kenjii could get to them. Unfortunately she isn't quick enough to do this, and barges in the Tenshodo HQ just as Kenjii is being handed over his own pass, under the looks of Saerun and the two Tarutaru. Bitterly, Avina takes hers too, and follows the others outside. But someone is waiting for them in the hallway that takes out of the Inn…

Mirror has isolated the hallway and sealed the doors, and just as the group stands before him, he uses for the first time in a long time his powers against the group, breaking his promise to Kenjii and sending them into a dream where there's no return…

The members of the Siren's Sword find themselves on an island, with no boat or port of any sort but apparently full of familiar presences. Kenjii seems initially the only one not fully affected by the chant, as all the others seem to find it normal to be there without any actual memory of getting to that place, and chase fading figures to play (Avina even decides to change her clothes, if only at the very worst moment). After a glimpse of the kids and girls around the island and the marks on their faces, Kenjii's memories start to emerge, and he is quick to detect the trap. Finding a 'bug' into the island's surroundings, he starts to call out loud for the Farseer, insulting him and challenging him to show up his face.

While it's instead a gigantic assassin Airship to show up in front of him, someone else does appear near the group. It's Mirror himself, in a quite sorry and pitiful state. The bard confesses the dream is his doing, and that he slept himself too to prevent any kind of escape, dooming the group to what could be a coma or a sweet death. Everyone finally seems to snap out of the trance and terror and shock ensue on the island. Avina charges Mirror in all her manly grace, hitting him repeatedly despite Kenjii's calls to stop (as he believes Mirror is still the only one who could bring them back).

It is then that the Farseer actually does appear. The mysterious man has arrived to stop Mirror's "suicidal attempt", and tends to the boy while, he says, Maeve is working on getting everyone out of there. After some cryptic talk, he leaves the group to naturally wake up. Kenjii and Avina are the last to do so, and the ninja takes this chance to talk to the girl. He tells her that he won't go to the Near East without her, as he already found the answer to the doubt that led him to come back a year before. Avina understands what he means, and gets flustered. After questioning Kenjii's motives to go to Aht Urhgan, she ultimately agrees to go with him, much to Kenjii's surprise. The two then finally wake up at the infirmary…

Meanwhile in Aht Urhgan…
To be an interesting, intriguing, well-written character, there needs to be something to allow the audience to relate to them. That is what the problem is with who wants their character to be "perfect". Perfect characters will never be strong, and strong characters will never be perfect, because WE (those who read, who watch, who RP) are not perfect.

"What makes a strong character is how they deal with their flaws, their fears, their turmoils, their troubles that get in the way. That's what makes them relatable." – Doug Walker
