Summary:

(Was asleep unintentionally for the first half, so I would appreciate someone summing up better the first half)

Jericho went to prey at the temple and ended up falling asleep, later being found by Saerun, the two had a small discussion before deeming to visit Muriru in the hospital, which was Saerun's main goal in being in Jeuno at the time anyway.

With Zeti-Reti still watching over Muriru, Avina came to visit, still in her halloween costume, to which Zeti-Reti questioned what she was wearing and if it was a good idea, as Muriru would likely suffer a heart attack to wake to it.

Meanwhile, Draenen went to get a physical and later tried to sneak by Saerun and Jericho, but was spotted by the latter. As an apology, Draenen offered to by them food after running an errand and collected a package. Saerun and Jericho went to check on Muriru.

As Saerun and Jericho were about to take leave to step outside, Muriru stirred, to Saerun's quick notice and there was a large fuss over Muriru waking up, understandably confused and possibly even scared. She explained she didn't remember much of the ordeal or even being in Xarcabard, and that she had a weird dream in which a "witch lady" had her captive in a pretty white dress, Kenjii had been possessed by some kind of spell and had been made a Jester and the group were doing battle with said witch. Naturally, this could be summed up to just a weird dream.

Before things could settle down, the mysterious Tarutaru who had previously tipped off the group to Muriru's location reappeared. Hostility not being a motive, the group were quickly calmed down, though realising it was a mage of some sort, Muriru fruitlessly tried to silence the intruder. It was quickly explained that Muriru is no longer a mage herself, due to her supposedly deceased grandmother Veviriri Tululu, who had taken her magical power, which was the reason behind her kidnapping and comatose state.

The mage continued on to explain that Veviriri is no longer the brilliant mage she used to be, but an insane megalomaniac hellbent on seeking her eternal life, as she fears her own death and, as explained, kidnapped Muriru to drain her of her power, hoping gaining enough power would grant immortality. It had also been established that Muriru's weakness was a long lasting spell cast upon her to "perhaps keep her on track with her magic", which Veviriri unintentionally took from her as well. The mage left with only warnings that Veviriri will likely seek out the party for her own goals and that if Muriru wants her magic back, she will have to take it back.

Muriru, left devastated and confused, is unsure of what she will be able to do now, and it is clear she has doubts she's now of any use at all. Advised by the group that she could go on to study a form of non-magical art of defence, it's clear she's unsure of the idea.

The group left her to rest before heading out of Jeuno.

After Muriru goes to rest, Saerun and Jericho travel to The Sanctuary of Zi'Tah, to help Sobe complete the task that she was given by a mysterious mithra. The two talk, and admire the scenery, before Sobe gets distracted by the glowing crystals beneath one of the tree bridges.

She grabs one, and continues on. On the way, Jericho explains several things that Sobe was curious about, including magicite. As he explains the cermet headstone, they're attacked by a huge tiger. Sobe is almost immediately disarmed and knocked back, while Jericho protects her and holds it at bay.

Noting a weakpoint on it's forehead, Saerun strangely manages to throw the crystal perfectly, the sharped gem piercing the weakpoint. Jericho and Saerun talk briefly, while she acts dazed, and odd, before collapsing.

She wakes up with no memory of anything that had happened after she threw the crystal. The two return home to rest.
