Active Attendees: Avina (as herself and ???) Draenen Garonne (as herself and Armored Figure) Kenjii
Summary: The Armored Figure travels to Mhaura on a rainy day. The Boogeyman approaches Quote, former potential recruit of the Siren's Sword and now a shipgirl of the One Byne Ferry* route and her captain, seeking for negotiations over a possible bribe and a change of route. To show true intentions the figure holds out a sachet with 8 million gil…. Where could they be headed?
Meanwhile Draenen, still hunting for fossils to sell, decides to move her excavation site in the Maze of Shakhrami. There she meets the mysterious hooded man, who taunts her in a very enigmatic way about playing hero but at the same time also warns her that Avina is there, and she's not well. Angered by finding out the man was the very culprit of Avina's peril, Draenen asks for help over the linkpearl. Shortly after, Garonne arrives. The two women find Avina in pitiful conditions: she's bruised everywhere, her face covered in blood, and her eyes are shocked and somewhat distant. Assuming that she was drugged, the two carefully carry her to Windurst, at Draenen's place where Kenjii is still sleeping after the medicine knock-out that Draenen gave him two days ago.
As they tend to Avina, Draenen and Garonne discuss over the latest events, and at how it seems clear that the Siren's Sword is someone's target, possibly more than one. With Muriru and Zenji, Avina is now the third member, or relative of a member, to get kidnapped or wounded in an unexpected moment. May the Dark Tournament's staff have to do with this? is the hooded man one of them? Or could it be some 'rebel scientists' in the Jeuonan new pseudo-government, who refuse to obey to Lady Eshan'tarl and consider the Siren's Sword a group of heroes rather than criminals to the Duchy? And could Avina have followed Muriru's fate had she not been rescued in time?
Garonne also reveals that, according to Kirious's findings (his, and of those who were there to rescue Kenjii's brother), Mays is still alive and could possibly be related to all of this too, although Draenen doesn't seem too surprised. The conversation then briefly moves aside to Draenen's incoming journey to find her sister with Envy. While a couple decisions are made, Kenjii finally awakes and immediately inquires about Avina's conditions. Despite the women's attempts to hold him back, he takes Draenen's chocobo license and airship pass and runs off to find the hooded man, seeking revenge. However, as Garonne and Draenen predicted, the man seems to be long gone from the Maze. Kenjii has a brief encounter, much to his surprise, with Avina's father who was scavenging for bones in the very place. After scanning the whole place around and making sure there isn't any potential danger or tracks left, Kenjii regretfully returns to Windurst, carrying Draenen's abandoned package and a small pouch of powder that could have been used to drug Avina. Draenen seems to know someone who could inspect it, but needs some time as her leg is not in the best conditions. Leaving the house with Kenjii on watch duty and Avina asleep, Draenen and Garonne separate ways each to find some answers…

To be an interesting, intriguing, well-written character, there needs to be something to allow the audience to relate to them. That is what the problem is with who wants their character to be "perfect". Perfect characters will never be strong, and strong characters will never be perfect, because WE (those who read, who watch, who RP) are not perfect.
"What makes a strong character is how they deal with their flaws, their fears, their turmoils, their troubles that get in the way. That's what makes them relatable." – Doug Walker
"How hard did you hit him?" "Quite hard, actually. For some reason he irritated me." They stared back to where the Grolim lay. "You're getting to be more like Belgarath every day," Silk told him. "You do more damage out of simple irritation than most men can do in a towering rage."
