RP type: Social

Date: Wednesday October 3

Attendees:
Saerun
Draenen
Muriru (as Doctor Monberaux)
Garonne (as ??? )

Summary:
Sitting in different spots of Sarutabaruta, Saerun and Draenen chatted idilly over the pearl for several minute before being interrupted by Jeuno's Doctor Monberaux, who was overseeing Muriru's recovery and used the Tarutaru's linkpearl to report her progress. She has yet to awaken, and upon an examination of her, the doctor found evidence that Muriru had been bound tightly at some point and had several wounds – more incision like than punctures – in her arms, neck, spine, and chest that indicated that large-gauge needles had been used on her, and the wounds magically sealed afterwards.

After the doctor excused himself from the pearl, Sae and Draen's conversation turned towards the state they had found Muriru, and possible links between the incident and the strange tournament that has so far focused on the Empty. Sae is approached by a Mithra in heavy armor, who inquires about the tournament and how to participate. After the Mithra leaves, Draen suggests that, possibly, the Duchy's Armathrwn Society might be involved – they were previously interested in the Emptiness and Muriru's wounds sounded suspiciously like some sort of weird experiment. This theory is shot down as Saerun recounts her experience with the tournament – spectators and 'demon girls' do not seem like something the Society would deal with.

The conversation began to wind down, Sae inquiring Draen about her progress in raising money for her trip, and Draen revealing that she is getting close to done and really should start worrying about what to pack…

When the hero enters to kill me, I will ask him to first explain to my grandchild why it is necessary to kill her beloved grandma. When the hero launches into an explanation of morality way over her head, that will be her cue to pull the lever and send him into the pit of crocodiles. After all, small children like crocodiles almost as much as Evil Overlords and it's important to spend quality time with the grandkids.

"How hard did you hit him?"
"Quite hard, actually. For some reason he irritated me." They stared back to where the Grolim lay.
"You're getting to be more like Belgarath every day," Silk told him. "You do more damage out of simple irritation than most men can do in a towering rage."
