Name: Rudik
Nation: San D'oria
Job class: Paladin
Sex: Male
Age: 26

Personality: Like all Elvaan he carry his strength through honor and duty, as well as being a tad bit snobby and potentially stuck up. He does not like to rely on others when he is confident in his own ability's. He warms up to people better over time knowing they can handle them selves. Hes too stubborn to ask for help from others. To receive a compliment from him is a rare opportunity. Always ready to leap at the chance to defeat evil heroically.

Bio: Born and raised in San D'oria like every other Elvaan boy should, behind the safety of its walls. When he was too young and pure to no what violence was out side them he was selected for his nations draft. With the Orc army at their nations doorstep the kingdom of San D'oria needed trained able bodies for the up coming war that would come in the growing years. Rudik was not just given a sword and shield an told who to kill like the older Elvaan men. With his youth came learning potential, a mind ready to be molded and mastered in the ways of the sword that the Elvaan were renowned for.

The training was brutal and almost cruel, but the result was well worth it. Proving his metal by being pitted against others he was given the rank of commander of an elite group of knight's who were call 'The Chocobo Knights'. When the war did come he had grown out of his boy hood and wielded his blade against the Orc hordes. Holding the beastmen army's at their border in La Theine Plateau, their tactics were simple and clever. The front line would hold them as Rudiks Chococbo knights on the hill side would flank them riding chocobo's, chasing the beastmen off the canyons to their death.

Soon after the war ended the Chocobo Knights were disbanded so that no one knew of San D'orias dark secrets of drafting young children. There was roomers of it, but those who talked about it never saw the light of day again in Chateau d'Oraguille dungeon. Rudik found peace in his life joining the Temple knights and trained himself in the ways of the Paladin. He was a holy man who devoted his life to a greater cause, to banish evil. Being so close to his faith he had a vision from the goddess herself to take up the quest where other have failed.

A great darkness was coming to Vana'diel and he needed to find out how to prevent such a blight from happening. In his long travels he had picked up a hobby for writing story novels that appeals to those who seek glory, treasure and of course adventure. Currently he is working on his autobiography and the people around him. In doing so he hopes for others to read his journey, his hardship and influence others to pick up his life long quest if he may fail.

Overall I think it's good. :) There are a chronological questions that I have for you, but we can discuss this more in game.

I also saw that you posted these into the Archived Profiles forum, which is where we put the profiles of roleplayers who are either RPed with us for a very short time or had talked about joining but ultimately did not. I'll move it into the appropriate "Characters" section for you. : )
