Through the post, Muriru recieved a letter. It would be normal for anyone else, but something about this letter has unnerved Muriru.

"Dear Muriru,

You must be so pretty by now. I bet the boys never leave you alone.
Over my youthful years, i had boys jumping up and down at my very command.
Until of course I came of age and began my journey as a summoner.

My son was so proud when he first began his journey. But there have been complications
Understand that he kept this a secret from you, because he believed it was for your own
Safety and security that you would not seek the same path as we have.
The journey into becoming a summoner is not one that is considered easy, nor short.

Going about it wrong could also lead to many becoming unnerving and suspecting.
Over my twilight years, I discovered wonders beyond your wildest dreams.

That however came with it’s own perils and there were times I felt all was lost.
Of course, I never gave up. I never gave in.

Forgive your father for his lies, I wish I could have told you in person the truth.
Every family has it’s secrets i suppose. Out of respect for him, I cannot help you with your journey.
It would tear your father’s heart out, knowing I helped if the prophecy came true.
You see, during his journey into summoning, he met Fenrir, but was never able to gain his
Intense and amazing power. Fenrir told him something he never wished to hear.
Never before had I seen such a destroyed expression on his face when he returned to me.

After some time, he finally opened up to me in regards to what he had experienced that day.
Nothing could have prepared me for it. The prophecy regarded you, his most beloved daughter.
Do not fear the prophecy, and do not blame your father.

He only wanted what’s best for you, so he made up the story of the white mage only rule.
Even though I protested, he went through with it, I could not bare to see him lie to you.
As he did, I moved to San D’oria. It wasn’t home, but It felt nice to start a new life.
Dear, when you were born, I loved you from the moment I laid eyes apon you.

That is why I cannot tell you the prophecy or what your father was told.
Only he will know the truth, but he will not tell you, he will continue to lie to protect you.

There is a solution though, and I hope you can see the answer for yourself.
Head into San d’oria, you will find the clothes I wore when I travelled as a summoner.
Even though they will not accept you until you have proven you are worth to wear them.

Clear your mind and move forward. You shall find the answers you now most certainly are
Looking for. It will be hard, but I am sure you are with friends and loved ones.
Otherwise your journey will be significantly more difficult.
I hope that you find happiness in your life, and that whatever happens in the end.
Somehow, somewhere, you will find the same peace and satisfaction
That I experienced.
Every star must shine its brightest before it is extinguished. There is no exception.
Right or wrong, it is your life and no one should be allowed to experience it.

Of course, I am probably worrying myself too much about this. I think you will be
Fine and I only wished I could have witnessed your childhood with my own eyes.

Farewell, my sweet. One day you shall join me in afterlife, and we shall share our
Romantic stories of our lives, even if you do not take up Summoning.
Of all things, summoning made me truly happy, only bested by the love of my family.
Someday you too will experience the love of a family for yourself. I hope it is with someone
Truly loving and deserving of you and that someone will take care of you for eternity.

Give your father my love, Grandma Veviriri Tululu."
