Looking to get the cap broken with as many shell members as possible. Because really, the more of us that we can get through it, the better. The best way to start this would be getting all the items we need for the Olde Rarab Tail. If you want in on these runs and don't intend to to get your items then drop for the first group you can find that's ready, let's talk.

First, we probably need to get a Bone, a Fang, and two stones apiece. I'm hearing everything from this fight not being that bad, to PLDs getting two shotted. Best way to fix that would be tilting the scale to our advantage with the Tails.

The Opo in Dangruf Wadi have pretty good drop rates on both the Stones and the Fangs. There's a couple rooms with them, and they aren't too difficult to solo. I duoed mine, and we got what we needed in a couple hours.

Worked on Bilesuckers in Ranguemont Pass for about two hours with the previously mentioned THF, to no bone drops.

If you have any info or want to join a run and take on the boss as a team, speak up.

You were on the right track with Rang. Pass. It's the Hovering Oculous eyes that drops stones AND bones. With TH they are both a quick drop.

The fight itself is challenging, but not too too horrible if you are prepared.

My group did a zerg method, no tail required. SMN for Alexander's Perfect Defense and melee (*coughMNKcough*) x5. Less than 3 minutes, mostly painless. 2/3 on this strategy. Lost the first attempt with 1% left.

We tried a more traditional setup with 4 people, PLD WHM RDM SAM… oh boy, did that hurt… less than 3 minutes to die, RR and all… 0/2 on this one.

This Taru hits fast and hard. He's not someone to be taken lightly either. Enfeebles stick, but only for like 3 seconds. Stun lands… so stun-locking is possible… He's like a mini-Maat on steroids.

I'd be happy to help if I'm around when this is done. I offer up my SMN RDM WHM BLM NIN or DNC.

99 is awesome :3 I'm enjoying this new found power… Muahahaha

When the hero enters to kill me, I will ask him to first explain to my grandchild why it is necessary to kill her beloved grandma. When the hero launches into an explanation of morality way over her head, that will be her cue to pull the lever and send him into the pit of crocodiles. After all, small children like crocodiles almost as much as Evil Overlords and it's important to spend quality time with the grandkids.

"How hard did you hit him?"
"Quite hard, actually. For some reason he irritated me." They stared back to where the Grolim lay.
"You're getting to be more like Belgarath every day," Silk told him. "You do more damage out of simple irritation than most men can do in a towering rage."

after 5 days of farming and multiple deaths (O I'm so rusty..) I managed to get a bone and complete my tail. if you guys still need it I'd like to team up for the fight. Let me know whenever.
To be an interesting, intriguing, well-written character, there needs to be something to allow the audience to relate to them. That is what the problem is with who wants their character to be "perfect". Perfect characters will never be strong, and strong characters will never be perfect, because WE (those who read, who watch, who RP) are not perfect.

Still need it, but if you and Kiri get a chance to do it, take it – things are a little crazy for me right now, so don't wait for me.

OK, looking a possibly doing it the 26th or 27th. Since I know weekday runs are late for you, Draenen will be off and if you get back to me before THIS Friday, I can probably take a day off. The earlier the better though for the heads up. I'd frankly prefer Friday if possible because, hey, three day weekend.

friday 27th sounds cool with me, long as it's before 6PM EST (midnight my time), so let me know the hour and I'll be on.
