In this day and age, i find people who make "Special Characters" (Dark past, super power that no one else has etc) are actually turning into the norm, meaning someone who is normal (no special powers, avarage or learner skill with happy childhood no dark event) actually becomes the unique.
I mean when i RP'd on wow, there were so many people possessed by a powerful demon which has never been varified lore-wise, or have some mystic about them that puts them far above us mortal whelps, that i found very few who'd actually play a reasonable character, who really has little uniqueness about them, which ironically makes the unique as characters.Tsuikai
You are already one of my favorite RPers!
To be an interesting, intriguing, well-written character, there needs to be something to allow the audience to relate to them. That is what the problem is with who wants their character to be "perfect". Perfect characters will never be strong, and strong characters will never be perfect, because WE (those who read, who watch, who RP) are not perfect.
"What makes a strong character is how they deal with their flaws, their fears, their turmoils, their troubles that get in the way. That's what makes them relatable." – Doug Walker
I do, Muriru. I'm basically trying to get the gist of the game really. I can't deal with the mouse movement thing, so i have put in my xbox controller, that's solved at least that problem. I'm so used to how XIV and WoW work that the system has me a bit perplexed, but like all games i'm sure to get used to it. Wish the map system was a bit better though.
