The way I'm understanding this, (And what Avina posted just makes me even more convinced) is that the purpose of this thread is not as much about 'fixing' Kaolla but more about fixing how the other RPers should act to her, which is something that personally I don't appreciate.
As the RPer of an introvert character I know how hard it can be to get to be a part of the group, and I've had my struggles too.
But if you have been around enough, and you have, you will notice how in these IC years of RPing Kenjii has matured, and albeit still a jerk, he does talk to others and actually interact with the group. (And especially now in CoP, he had a strong development in this regards, I'm sure Saerun has witnessed that personally).
This is how even though Kenjii doesn't really want to talk to anyone, the members of the group still end up reaching out for him, and talk to him. And this is all because even though my character is introvert, I try my best within my IC limits to not keep him away from the group.
Something easy such as keeping your pearl around (Kaolla is 19 or 20yo now, she should know how it works) and not standing in place without saying anything when the group is right next to you (Lenina and Korghan fishing comes to mind, you haven't really talked to them until they actually talked to you, but I'm sure you could've easily recognized Korghan) is a good start.
I think trying to change (sub-scripting?) the other RPers with the threat to leave is unfair. But if you show initiative on solving your problems, I'm sure the others will do their part too, and actually open more to you as well (As they all have done in the past).
I hope this post is fair and polite enough and doesn't cause any conflict or harm to anyone.
To be an interesting, intriguing, well-written character, there needs to be something to allow the audience to relate to them. That is what the problem is with who wants their character to be "perfect". Perfect characters will never be strong, and strong characters will never be perfect, because WE (those who read, who watch, who RP) are not perfect.

As for this being a change other people's RP thread comment, no. All I really wanted was a simple “You’re thinking too much. No we don’t hate you. Yes we still want you around. Give it another try we’ll help!”
I think you are taking the words of these posts the wrong way, Kaolla. And sadly that is the risk of making a thread like this.
But seriously, we are just telling you what the possible issues with your character could be, and we are putting advices in there to help you too. But with this 'no I can't change this' 'no you can't ask me to talk more' or pointing fingers at other people's mistakes attitude, you will not go far, and will make this thread lose purpose. It's turning into a thread were we tell you our opinions and you just get defensive and talk about leaving.
Kaolla, you control your character, and not vice versa. If your character has limits that don't let you do certain things, then change those limits. If you want to get in the group IC, then you can do it., like Kirious said. There is absolutely no need to talk about leaving or anything. Personally I think you are making the problem bigger than it is. The door to the solution is right in front of you, all you have to do is open it.
And if after all of this you still think that your character can't do this, then maybe yes, it may need some major changes.
The main purpose of RP, do never forget, is to have fun, as should be the purpose of any game and videogame of the sort. If you RP a character that you do not enjoy, then RP loses its purpose. Maybe you are not enjoying your character as it is now, but it is not us that are making it not fun for you. Consequentially, it is not in our power to make it funnier for you. All we can do is give you advices for your character in this thread, but if you keep to reject them then well, there isn't much that we can do about this.
Maybe you should scroll up and read again what the others have told you too, I'm sure there is some valuable advice that you can follow in there, without breaking your character.
