If you're looking forward RPing as a Dark Knight here's a thread listing who has done it before you or is going to. Check what it says to make sure you can make an original character without accidentally copying their style.

Name: Aedyn

In which part of RP will you be a Dark Knight: San d'Oria, permanently until further notice.

Type of attendance: Cameo.

Story of your job in a briefing: Aedyn becomes a Dark Knight after Saerun breaks his heart by leaving him. The torn feelings towards the woman lured him to the dark side of knighthood, and he's now slave of an unstoppable power thirst.

As a Dark Knight in the RP group: Aedyn asks Avina to train him as a DRK, and tries to lure her back to the call of darkness, saying the two of them together could do great things. As Avina declines, Aedyn keeps growing stronger and stronger, and shows his new powers in the final battle against the orcs in Fei'Yin.

What will you do in the future: Unknown. Aedyn took the habit of disappearing from the group without a word now.

Appearance: Aedyn wears Ares armor as a Dark Knight, along with Artifact/Relic pieces.

In which part of RP will you be a Dark Knight: Occasionally.

Type of attendance: Regular

As a Dark Knight in the RP group: Dark Knight was Avina's first serious job in both the RP and the game in general. Following a fallout with her companions Avina became convinced that what she lacked in was power, and became obsessed with seeking power so that she may solve all her problems through force. She was brash, gutsy, and quick to take offense as a DRK, and quicker to become violent. After nearly slaying one of her closest companions she realizes the monster she had become and swore to fight it.

Avina turns away from being a DRK as her 'main ' following the conclusion of the Bastok storyline. Although she now controls her mood and powers better, facing Zeid on the battlefield and seeing what the job had done to him pushed her to change her course.

This past is largely the main reason for why Avina has a melancholy demeanor.

What will you do in the future: Undecided, but Avina still harbors the darkness inside that she naively opened her heart up to years ago. This haunts her to this day, although her training with white magic with the cathedral in Northern San d'Oria has given her more of an ability to suppress it. At some point during Chains of Promathia she will absolve herself darkness permanently. At which point we may see more of her as a Dark Knight, but rather as a Knight of good that manipulates darkness, and not the other way around, in order to protect those dear to her.

Appearance: Varies. Often includes AF/Relic, Black set (Plastron), or Hauberk. When she becomes a 'good DRK' in the future, she will probably go for the Adaman Hauberk look.
