Summary:

Part 1:

The adventurers, all making their way around Tu'lia, find each other and gather together at the northern most ark. Surprising them is the return of Asina, who had followed them in through the Hall of the Gods. Avina doesn't respond well to this surprise, immediately pulling out her scythe in order to defend herself, however she is calmed by her teammates.

As they investigate one of the nearby red portals, Cire explains that Zetireti had decided to return to the earth, fearing that he was weak and would only be hindering his companions. This news brings sad feelings to the group, just as they stumble into the Northern-most ark of the La'Loff Amphitheater… exuding a frightening aura to the group. Not knowing what lie on the other side of the Burning Circle, but believing that it could be key to defeating Eald'narche, the adventurers step in.

To their shock, they find themselves face to face with the Ark Angel Hume, the same "Warrior of the Crystal" they had witnessed stab Raogrimm back in the Castle Zvahl Throne Room. After an intense struggle, the adventurers managed to defeat the Ark Angel Hume, causing his body to crystallize and break into Shards of Apathy. Gathering up the Shards, the adventurers take them up, and leave the La'Loff Amphitheater.

Reasoning that the guardians may be key to defeating Eald'narche, or at least, should be dispatched before the final confrontation, the adventurers make their way to each of the Arks, first to the one housing the beautiful Ark Angel Elvaan, and then the Ark Angel Galka, gathering up the Shards of Arrogance and Anger respectively.

As the others leave after defeating the Ark Angel Galka, Avina finds herself consumed with murderous intent from the Scythe of Trials and attempts to corner Asina to take her down… but Avina holds herself back before even drawing her weapon. Asina warns her that she should be careful… and Avina thinks to drop the Scythe of Trials off the edge of Tu'lia to the world below, but is unable to…

(This is where Avina's side story with the Scythe of Trials would take place)

Part 2:

Zetireti, having overcome his own cowardice and returning to help his friends, along with Avina, who had managed to conquer the Scythe of Trials with his help, manage to catch up to the rest of the adventurers and together they successfully defeat the Ark Angel Tarutaru and the Ark Angel Mithra, gathering up both the Shards of Cowardice and the Shards of Envy.

With no guardians left to defend Eald'narche, the adventurers decide it is safe to begin their assault on The Shrine of Ru'Avitau, working their way through the area's maze-like corridors and into the very heart of the structure itself. Making their way into a room filled with a blood red light, with sirens screaming, the adventurers find themselves at a magically sealed door… unable to progress. No matter how hard they try, it appears impossible to breach the door. Running out of ideas, the adventurers realize they have no choice but to leave, some suggesting that it may be wise to seek out Gilgamesh for answers, as he was the one who had set them on their way to begin with.

Navigating their way out of The Shrine of Ru'Avitau, they pass through the main entrance, and their attention is distracted by a monument. Investigating it, Yve'noile appears and explains to the adventurers the background of this place… The Shrine of Ru'Avitau, the heart of Tu'lia, with the Celestial Nexus–the Gate of the Gods–at it's center. The guardians of the crystal protected the Celestial Nexus from their five arks.

Yve'noile explains to them that she can grant them a power that could help them defeat Eald'narche… but the risk was great. They would need to revive the Ark Angels and defeat them all at the same place at the same time, using a special burning circle inscribed onto a sheet of parchment which could alter the restrictions on the La'loff Amphitheater and allow them to defeat the Ark Angels all at once… The ark pentasphere, would have to be created by emerging a sheet of parchment, a bottle of illuminink, and the shards of the fallen crystal warriors, all into the fountain at Ro'maeve on a clear night when the moon was full. Only then, could Yve'noile bestow upon them a power that could help them to defeat Eald'narche.

It was not something they would be able to do alone. They would need the help of their many other companions since their early adventuring days. They would have to open Tu'lia up to the world. It would be the greatest battle many of them had seen yet.
