So… I do these a lot. Quick little stories and concepts that I have and write down to either a) remember them to use/expand upon on a later day, b) get them out of my head so I can work on something more worthwhile, or c) have no real use and were inspired by something I found humorous. Most likely, it'll be the latter, so if you see something here, consider it OOC. Unless, of course, it shows up in actual RP.

Will warn, some of these might not be for delicate, sensitive readers. Language, bit of violence, some innuendo…. nothing horrible, but some people can be touchy. So my standard warning: I'm not holding a gun to your head and forcing you to read, you can stop at any time, or just not read at all. Use common sense.

When the hero enters to kill me, I will ask him to first explain to my grandchild why it is necessary to kill her beloved grandma. When the hero launches into an explanation of morality way over her head, that will be her cue to pull the lever and send him into the pit of crocodiles. After all, small children like crocodiles almost as much as Evil Overlords and it's important to spend quality time with the grandkids.

"How hard did you hit him?"
"Quite hard, actually. For some reason he irritated me." They stared back to where the Grolim lay.
"You're getting to be more like Belgarath every day," Silk told him. "You do more damage out of simple irritation than most men can do in a towering rage."

Ritual

"Here I light a candle – hear me, oh Lady of the Wind!"
"Here I light a candle – come to me, oh Master of Dreams!"
"Here I light a candle – attend me, oh Lord of Memories!"
"Here I light a candle – watch over me, oh Goddess most divine!"

"Gather close, those whom I have called, and witness my actions. I bring sacrifice to gain your favors." Mirror placed an oddly-shaped bundle wrapped in silk on the candle-lit table, and drew a knife made from bone from his tunic. "Those who I have called, you know the words in my heart." He paused, then raised the knife over his head.

"As it is done…"

Mirror brought down the knife down into the bundle, the blade audibly slicing through something soft before cracking into something quite hard. Moment later, a red stain began to bleed through the silk, and red and white fluid spread in a puddle across the table and dripped to the floor.

"… let it be done."

The Goddess and three Avatars (well, two Avatars and one Servant) couldn't help but stare at each other. Calls like the one that had summoned them to the same place were practically unheard of in this day and age.

"… He just sacrificed a tomato and a coconut to us…" Altana was the first to speak, as she facepalmed.

Diabolos copied the gesture. "We need better followers…"

Oh snap! Now everybody knows! XD
To be an interesting, intriguing, well-written character, there needs to be something to allow the audience to relate to them. That is what the problem is with who wants their character to be "perfect". Perfect characters will never be strong, and strong characters will never be perfect, because WE (those who read, who watch, who RP) are not perfect.

"What makes a strong character is how they deal with their flaws, their fears, their turmoils, their troubles that get in the way. That's what makes them relatable." – Doug Walker
