Saw this forum and checked with Avina and I figured I would drop a couple artistic renderings of the Dy-Guy here. I did not draw/paint these. I dabble a little bit with tablet and stylus but I'm nowhere near this good. My wife commissioned these two for me as a Christmas and birthday gift a little over a year ago. There's also a ton out there that have been commissioned of our XIV character (most by her but a few by me) but it doesn't seem relevant to post any of those.

Here is Dyterium as he would probably appear in XI, early-to-mid 30's, courtesy of Ulyana Regener. This was designed to work for both FFXI and FFXIV, though the armor and weapon are of course both directly inspired by FFXI gear:


And this is a picture from XIV of a much older Dyterium (late 50's in FFXIV before he passed) with his also-much-older daughter Eva (now 33). This piece is courtesy of Jenny Healy:


The character himself has been semi-recycled for XIV as Eva's father. He died last year there, though. And he generally looks pretty disgruntled.

For the sake of XI role-play though, Dy might talk a little about his daughter (who is 7 years old now, and who won't be regarded as "Eva" either). He'd probably need to be prodded a bit though. He's kind of a private individual. ^_^
