This is my goodbye. It's been fun, but I just can't get back into the RP groove. I jump into shell quite often to find nothing happening… maybe I just have bad timing? But FFXI in general has lost it's luster to me. I find myself logging in only to sit around…

In August I plan on going to 14. My original LS from Phoenix has tracked down a large part of it's member base to reform there… so, that's my plan. I'm not sure if I will keep Aurou activated beyond that point or not. They are talking about going to the 'RP' server, so I might see some of you guys again. You can take a guess at the name I will use..

Sorry we couldn't get you roped back into RP more easily. You seemed pretty quiet so I didn't know if you were just spectating or whatnot. But yeah, RP tends to start up more slowly this days just with people's schedules, and we hang out and chat a bit too for an hour or so before we get going into it.

But yeah, I hear a lot of people saying XI is losing some of it's luster. As for FFXIV, I think those of us who will play will be on the Balmung Legacy server, which is the server that was the unofficial RP server for 1.0. There's talk of some other servers trying to get some RP together that would be for exclusively new players only, but I haven't really heard anything definitive on those. But yeah, unless SE decides to announce that there will be a different, official RP server, Balmung's going to be where most people are going.
