Personality: Quiet and a bit shy towards strangers and new people, Aurou can have a downright bubbly attitude when she is in familiar surrounds. She is very proud of who and what she is, and does not like to back down from a challenge. Her accent has softened with time spent in Aht Urhgan, although it is still quite strong at times. She has become more outgoing and witty.

Aurou's story so far-

Aurou met the group on a trip to Windurst as they were preparing to face the mighty Fenrir. She had briefly been traveling with an Elvaan man named Nodem, whom she had met on the Airship from Jeuno. The two had bonded over their love of traveling, and Nodem said someday he would take Aurou to her home nation of Gha Nahbo.

After aiding the group with Fenrir, Aur was presented a linkpearl from Avina and invited to join them on their future adventures.

While usually offering her help to the group, Aur has been less than dependable. Her tendency to just up and leave with no notice has become well known among the members. She has left the group while they were in Tavnazia, while they were recruiting in Jeuno, while they were fighting gods in Sea…

In Tavnazia Aurou suffered a head wound after an attack upon her and Nodem. Believing Nodem to be dead, Aur spent a lot of time on her own recovering in Jeuno. She lost the ability to distinguish between red and yellow colors, hindering her ability to survive extended periods of time outside of cities.

Shortly after reuniting with the group in Jueno, Aurou and Saerun were 'kidnapped' by an unknown man who had been causing trouble to Siren's Sword. The two soon discovered that the mysterious 'D' was Nodem. Swearing to not reveal that he was alive, the three spent months in hiding in the Arrapago Reed region of the Empire.

Finally reappearing to the group and reassuring them that the two had never been in danger, Aurou and Saerun joined in investigating a new threat to Vana'Diel in the form of Bahamut. However, Aur soon disappeared again while they explored Al'Taieu looking for ways to stop the great Wyrm.

Aurou recently reappeared in Jeuno after missing for an entire season, dressed in Near Eastern attire and bearing the title of Lance Corporal. It was revealed that she had become a mercenary for the Empire of Aht Urhgan and had no recollection of ever leaving the region or traveling to Al'Taieu…..

Her stay in Whitegate has caused noticeable changes in the Mithra's personality and habits, as well as a missing piece of her memory. She now searches for answers- what happened in Al'Taieu and in Arrapogo Reef, what happened to Nodem, what happened to her that caused her to forget…
