Active Attendees: Avina Draenen Garonne Kenjii Mirror
Summary:
[[In the Middle Lands…]] Kenjii travels to the Delkfutt's Tower to check on Avina. The girl is still restlessly working on her training as a pugilist, and is still sort of bitter at Kenjii because of her last discussion with him before leaving Norg. However, all her negativity seems to fade when Kenjii mentions, among the news taking place in town, of the arrival of the puppeteer and his strange machine. Avina quickly packs up her stuff and drags Kenjii back to Bastok, to stop and stare in awe at the automaton's performance. She immediately starts talking about recruiting the thing in the Siren's Sword, and of how the group would be helpless without one. Kenjii patiently listens to her raving, at the least relieved that Avina finally found something else to think about that wouldn't be beating things up with her own hands. Making sure she isn't going to get sick, he leaves her to the square to go train Muriru.
Sometime later, Kenjii finds Mirror in a new shocking attire. Unable to bear the sight, Kenjii yells at the bard, till the tattooed man runs back home and changes to more proper clothing. The two then talk about Draenen and her current location, and Kenjii is shocked to learn that the girl and Kirious went to the Far East. Between the chatter, he also remembers that Roy Mustang, too, is there for a survey as a Gold Muskteer. Mirror reacts quite amusedly to the news, and the then start to bicker on who'd be taking the blame when Draenen returned. Mirror mentions some 'tag' on Kenjii, but the goldsmith fails to catch the meaning, and shrugs it off before leaving.
[[In the Near East]] Draenen is discussing with Garonne of her acquired information in the Imperial capital. Kirious still hasn't returned, and for now the group is stuck there waiting for him. Garonne mentions the need of going back to Al Zahbi, and Draenen expresses uneasiness at the idea, mentioning a certain man and the troubles she had in the Middle Lands short before leaving. Garonne's advice is to write a letter to the man, to make things clear, but Draenen's attempts to it seem to never quite satisfy the Grimalkin's expectations. Lastly, the mithra suggests that Draenen seeks Kirious' help on the matter, saying that the man can get quite 'cheesy' when he puts some efforts into it. Draenen doesn't seem to understand why would cheesiness be necessary here, but says she'll think about it.

To be an interesting, intriguing, well-written character, there needs to be something to allow the audience to relate to them. That is what the problem is with who wants their character to be "perfect". Perfect characters will never be strong, and strong characters will never be perfect, because WE (those who read, who watch, who RP) are not perfect.
"What makes a strong character is how they deal with their flaws, their fears, their turmoils, their troubles that get in the way. That's what makes them relatable." – Doug Walker
