As I've tried to tell as many people as I've been able to, I'm going to be leaving country until December 1st, to go to South Africa on a bit of a vacation. I'm gonna miss you guys ; ; Unfortunately it is looking like internet access is sparse at best, and I probably won't be able to talk much if at all. I'm hoping I'll be able to pop on for just a couple minutes and let you all know that I arrived safe and sound.
I want to apologize for my level of activity in Tales of Vana'diel over the past couple months, and this will be the last time I will have need of doing so. It was a very trying period for me, for a variety of reasons; possibility of losing my job, graduate school tests and applications, legal issues, personal issues I'd rather not go into, and planning for this trip. I'm happy to say that all of that junk has finally been resolved. My work told me that I have outperformed their expectations and have no desire to get rid of me and have even (sorta?) given me a promotion in title. I'm now Head Assessor vs. Clinical Subjects Associate. The test was kinda ish, but honestly it went well enough and I don't think it will hold me back at all. Legal and personal stuff are fine, and at this stage, I'm all packed for South Africa.
So when I land back in the States on December 1st, I'm hoping you all will be still around! I have a lot of big plans and yes, starting when I get back, I am planning on having us get right to work on Aht Urhgan. So get your final side RPs out of the way now! The countdown has officially started!
As a result of some things that happened this last Monday at RP, I have put a pull up to help better gauge member's opinions on dice rolls and how they should be handled ICly. Since I won't be around to make an official 'call' on the results, please just work with the one that currently has the most votes at a given time.
Anyways, I should be around a bit today on MSN/Guildwork if anyone wants to get in touch with me. I may be in and out, but I'm all mostly packed and have like 6 hours to chill.
