I am currently looking for players willing to PvP a few fights as Villains and henchmen.
You will NOT be playing your character in these fights, and will be playing a part
assigned to you. While a sex/race is requested, it is not necessary. While it would be
somewhat odd to have someone like Blanche played by a woman, the role will go to whoever seems to handle the character the best and meets the majority of the qualifications. These characters will require a good amount of improvisation.

We will also need Heroes for these matches, and possibly some dead weight. If you are not playing a part in one of the fights, we would love to have you along as a Hero. If you
would just like to sit back and watch the show, there is also room for several dead weight
positions to fill spaces on teams that are set to have less members.

If you are interested in any roles, contact me through either this forum or in game, and I'll get you some more information on the characters you show interest in playing.

Roles Currently Requested:

Henchmen
Raka Maimhov
Possible Additional Roles?

Roles Currently NEEDED :

Heroes
Captain Blanche SR.
General Distine Mays
Zodiac

Heroes:
Come in character, be ready to thrown down. The only restrictions for hero characters is
that once you are knocked unconcious, you are to return to where you were beaten after
respawning, and sit/kneel. Heroes remain downed until the end of the fight if KO'd in
battle.

Henchmen:
Any class, any level. Henchmen are NOT to use abilities over level 49 or over HALF THE
LEVEL WE ARE CAPPED AT with the exceptions of self buffs and preservation that are NOT DIRECT HEALS. YOU ARE CANNON FODDER. This includes no Weapon Skills beyond the 5th in your list. You may wear whatever gear you bring and use any weapon.
You can use: Stoneskin, Shadows, Invincible if you're a PLD, Perfect Dodge if you are a THF, Manafront for BLM, ETC.

Henchmen are not allowed to pre-buff, but can buff while on the field. In most fights,
henchmen are allowed to respawn. If you are KO'd, get back into the fight as soon as you
can.

Captain Raka Maimhov- MNK/NIN/THF/WAR
Mithra, the white haired model everyone uses. Jobs requested: Any Melee class, preferably MNK or NIN, but most melee classes will do. Level 90+
Sometimes referred to as "Rolanberry Raka" behind her back, due to her "Sweetness" and 'Do Gooder' outlook. Raka frequently takes fire from other captains when her actions involve taking out targets that are neither competitors, nor are threats to SC. While she is
strict, the welfare of her men is important to her. She is rather charismatic, and often
inspires a fierce loyalty from those working under her. While somewhat witty, Raka isn't
as talkative or as vicious as Kirious verbally. Kirious is viciously loyal to her, and the
two of them have a very strong sibling-like bond.

Raka is to be played in a quick witted manner, and while being witty isn't a requirement,
it would certainly help. Imagine if Kirious was less of a jackass, and you will have a
fairly good idea of how Raka would react.

Fights:

Any Fight Kirious Appears in, and possibly Zodiac's fight either way.

Phrases:

Victory:
"That was a good warrrm up."

Loss:
"….So therrre's nothing else I could really do…"

Crit Delivered:
"You trust your eyes too much, you can't see in all dirrrections at once!"

Crit Taken:
"Hurk….OK, that, let's not do that again."

Below 50%:
"It's not over yet!"

Below 25%:
"Envy! Where is that idiot when I actually need him?!"

Captain Blanche: 90+
Male Hume SAM, NIN, or WAR Requested.
A somewhat grizzled veteran, Blanche isn't particularly found of either Kirious or Raka.
But even with this, he is still honorable, and doesn't like sneak attacks. He also does
not hold a grudge against Kirious or Raka for the death of his son, but this does not mean
he was not saddened by it.

Fights:

Vs Blanche
Vs Mays (If Alive)
Vs Zodiac (If Alive)

Victory:
"You should have read the 'Art of War' by Sun Taru, it could have saved your life."

Loss:
"…I will be with you soon, son."

Crit Delivered:
"Fight like you mean it!"

Crit Taken:
"Your foot work is unexpectedly good…."

Below 50%:
"I underestimated you…ergo, I will no longer!"

Below 25%:
"Odd…..all I can think of is my daughter now…"

General Distine Mays- Female Elvaan, RNG/COR/NIN/WAR/ 90+
There are people who love what they do in any field, with General Mays being among them. One of the better fighters in SC, she tends to flaunt this whenever possible. She feels that currently only Zodiac himself keeps her from realizing her "Full Potential." She has a very sadistic streak that tends to come out when she fights that leads to her rarely killing an opponent in battle, and waiting until they are downed to TRUELY enjoy herself. Hates Raka, knows a bit about Kirious' past, and wouldn’t mind taking him as an assistant if Raka could be removed from the picture without a link between herself pointing to the event. She sees potential in him, but that potential is somewhat spoiled by his loyalty to "Little Miss Rolanberry."

Fights:

Vs Mays
Vs Zodiac (If Alive)

Victory:
"How does this sound? A glass of wine, a starlit night, your skin being field stripped off with you screaming through a gag…"

Loss:
"How…how did I lose to these…classless…stupid…..ugly….ANIMALS?!"

Crit Delivered:
"I hope you're enjoying this as much as I am!"

Crit Taken:
"I'll remember that when you're nailed to a wall!"

Below 50%:
"You had better pray that I slip up and kill you!"

Below 25%:
"No..no…no, no, no, NONONONONONO!"

Zodiac- Galka NIN/WAR/MNK 90+
Very little is known of Zodiac, with only his General ever having regular direct contact with him. Rumors plant it as a male with incredible fighting abilities, and enough wealth to bribe his important agents out of several bad situations. Zodiac runs the company purely for profit, and will pick up whatever sounds like it will be the next big score. He is cold and calculating, and does not accept disrespect in any form.

Victory:
"Nothing personal, it was just business"

Loss:
"This was a poor investment…"

Crit Delivered:
"Do you not know who I am?!"

Crit Taken:
"I'll pay you back for that with interest!"

Below 50%:
"…Are you interested in a job by any chance?"

Below 25%:
"I'll double whatever you're being paid!"

You know what my position is on this: if I'm around, I'll play whatever part you need.
–––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––
When the hero enters to kill me, I will ask him to first explain to my grandchild why it is necessary to kill her beloved grandma. When the hero launches into an explanation of morality way over her head, that will be her cue to pull the lever and send him into the pit of crocodiles. After all, small children like crocodiles almost as much as Evil Overlords and it's important to spend quality time with the grandkids.

"How hard did you hit him?"
"Quite hard, actually. For some reason he irritated me." They stared back to where the Grolim lay.
"You're getting to be more like Belgarath every day," Silk told him. "You do more damage out of simple irritation than most men can do in a towering rage."

Really intrigued by this, and am up to play either kenjii as blanche or kjara as mays, whatever's needed the most.
To be an interesting, intriguing, well-written character, there needs to be something to allow the audience to relate to them. That is what the problem is with who wants their character to be "perfect". Perfect characters will never be strong, and strong characters will never be perfect, because WE (those who read, who watch, who RP) are not perfect.

"What makes a strong character is how they deal with their flaws, their fears, their turmoils, their troubles that get in the way. That's what makes them relatable." – Doug Walker

Working on getting Burald up to the 90+ range as WAR at least, and I plan to make him pretty well geared as well. Could make for a good Zodiac. This will depend a lot on when you play to do these fights, since Burald is a fresh character and I can't just straight burn him through levels as I need to finish the level caps. He's at 59 now, planning to do LB3 soon. As I've stated before, always interested in being one of the heroes as Avina.

If you're interested in playing any roles as either henchmen, heroes or even a dead weight spectator, go ahead and post so we can gauge interest. The first set of information has been sent out to the people who have shown interest in playing one of the required characters.

If you have any questions about how things are currently set to work, you can post them here or message me, or even send a /t in game. Really want to try and make this something new and interesting, but I'm gonna need the community to pitch in and play along.
