*A Small piece or paper has been slipped into the first part of the journal, the handwriting on it is awful and difficult to read though. At the top you are able to make out the words "E13 Incident" and a few signatures.

"Envy"
"Raka Maimhov"
"Paine"
"Holt"
"Distine Mays"

Day 0
Keeping an additional log for the duration of the trip. Refer to report E12. Spoke with Envy today, they were going to originally send him instead of Thorn, but he said he had a big lead on an issue in Jeuno involving the Arch Duke. On top of that, Blanche requested Thorn as Envy's replacement. So the team will be Sned, Thorn, Blanche, and myself. Haven't been past the Aht Urgan Empire for 5 years, Aradjiah has some good food, sort of excited.

Day 1
Sned and I went to Jeuno to pick up a few more things from Muckvix's shop. With Sned doing all of the talking we got a few good deals, especially on goblin chocolate. We carried it back to Port and met up with the others, Thorn gave me report D42 to read, less excited about the trip now that I know why we're going.

Day 2
Blanche is being a Dhamel's ass, he was put in charge of the recon mission and he won't let any of us forget it. We rode out to Mhuara today, and I'm writing this as I sit in the cargo bay of the ship. Envy and Naraka came to see us off, as well as bring a few more reports for us to read on the way there. As the ship pulled out of Mhaura Thorn and myself caught of glimpse of a massive sea monk. Sned says he has seen it before, Blache said we were full of it. Sned referred to it as the "Sea's Horror."

Day 4
Still sailing, we'll be stopping in Al Zahbi for supplies tomorrow. We haven't decided on if we're going to sail or walk through the mountains to the east. We will likely be sailing, since the Trolls in the mountains don't work for the Empire anymore. Sned says he's sure he can get us through, but I'm not sure if the three of us who aren't goblins would be allowed to pass in one piece.

Day 5
Blanche got a big slice of humble pie today when we tried to dock a Al Zahbi White Gate. One of the Imperial Guards recognized him and wouldn't let us dock. Probably related to report C03. While I'm not happy about having to go around to Nashemaru, at least Blanche has been quiet all day.

Day 6
The little rat beastmen managed to get us stocked up on supplies for a reasonable price. Thorn and myself rode the ferry over to Whitegate to get what they didn't have, since no one recognized us. On the way out of the harbor I could have sworn I saw a mermaid. I mentioned it to Sned, and he told stories for the rest of the night.

Day 8
Sailed through the straight north of AL Zahbi, a few crabs climbed on deck, we boiled a few and had a good meal.

Day 12
Docked in a small port town, we'll make a temporary camp while Blanche goes scouting. Some of the people here seem to know something they don't want to tell us, as if they are ignoring it themselves. Blanche just wants to run ahead and get all the credit.

Day 15
Sned, Thorn, and Myself spent most of the day playing "Mithra Tails." I know Sned's cheating, but I can't seem to catch him. We're running low on supplies, and have considered getting temporary work in the port town to buy more food.

Day 21
No contact from Blanche, Thorn wants to go looking for him. Sned and myself talk her down, we buy some linkshell pearls to keep in contact in case we change our mind. I have no idea what she sees in him.

Day 25
Still no contact from Blanche. Thorn strong arms us into looking for him. We leave the ship, and begin walking East.

Day 29
A caravan passed us along the way, of course we took the opportunity to restock our supplies. They didn't put up much of a fight. One even willingly surrendered a portion of his gold and water, saying "It's coming, turn around. I don't even wish that fate on Bandits." Sned is getting nervous, and said he heard one of the women on the caravan mentioning something 'Eating away at the Land.'

Day 36
We're tired, Sned wants to cut our losses and turn around. I agree with him, but Thorn is just too damn pigheaded to listen. We haven't seen Blanche in two weeks.

Day 38
We bumped into a Yagudo Tribe, Sned translated for us. While I didn't understand them, we can tell that they were scared of something. They don't even want to fight us, they just want to leave. We follow them for about a mile back the way we came until sundown. They set up camp and Sned talks with one of the older ones. We manage to trade some of our supplies with one that spoke enough of our tongue to have a light conversation with. We give them some of the food and water we acquired from the caravan, and they gave us some Brew. When I asked what they were so afraid of, Sned wouldn't tell me, he just said we needed to go with them.

Day 39
The Yagudo tribe left, and we remained in the camp. Thorn won't turn back, and said she would scout ahead and keep in touch over the linkpearl. I almost went with her, but Sned shook his head when I considered it. While traveling with just the two of us sounded like a really good opportunity, there was just something about Sned and what he had said. I've learned to take everything that goblin said with a grain of salt, but he wasn't himself, and I had never seen him that scared.

Day 40
Sned and I have been in constant contact with Thorn. She keeps moving East, and we are about a day behind her. She convinced us to move forward, but she won't let us catch up. She's sure she'll find Blanche if we just go a bit further.

Day 41
Today we Thorn told us something odd over the pearl. She said that the horizon looked odd, but she couldn't put it into words. She just kept saying the sky was "Wrong." Sned refused to move any further when he heard that, and told her she needed to come back. Thorn refused, saying she had found some of Blanche's supplies. Nothing I said after that could get Sned to move. He agreed to wait where we were for one more day, and he repeatedly told Thorn she needed to come back.

Day 42
Thorn managed to get herself lost. She doesn't know where she is, and says she can't tell if it's dawn or evening. This was at 12 Noon. Sned is a wreck, he wants to go find her, but is just too scared. Thorn said she found a few more of Blanche's things, but can't find him. She wants to turn back now.

Day 43
Thorn's hysteric over the pearl, she was actually crying all night, and she keeps talking about monsters she has never seen before. When she described one, even Sned thought she was probably hallucinating from dehydration. She was crying again most of the night.

Day 44
This morning we woke up and the pearl was silent. We couldn't get a response from Thorn, and Sned started packing. The old goblin was complaining about how we never listen to him. While I don't wanna leave Thorn dead in some dark field, I REALLY don't intend to join her. Sned and I head out back toward the port.

Day 45
The horizon behind us is probably the most terrifying thing I had ever seen, we ran most of the trip today. Right now Sned is asleep and I'm keeping watch. In another hour I'll get to take a nap, and Sned'll keep watch. Probably not gonna have time to write for awhile

Day 48
We're back at the port town, Sned and myself bought a few supplies and we departed.

Day 54
We're about to dock in Mhaura, Sned hasn't said a word since we left the port. He just keeps staring out to the East. I see a few agents waiting for us at the port, Envy, Naraka, Holt, and Paine look to be among them. I'm sure Envy is going to take this along with my report, so I'm going to leave him message:

I hope your vacation in Jeuno was worth it, this stupid mission cost us Thorn. It was supposed to be you rotting in some empty field, and don't think I'll be forgetting it. Sned might not blame you, but I do.
