If you're looking forward RPing as a Thief here's a thread listing who has done it before you or is going to. Check what it says to make sure you can make an original character without accidentally copying their style.

For people posting here:
Please try and follow this model.

- Name
- Model (race, gender, face model)
- Link to Profile (if you have one in Characters section)
- In which part of RP will you be a Thief (use expansions names for an approximate landmark, or ‘occasionally’ if you plan to switch job often, or ‘retired’ if you don't plan to use the job again any soon)
- Type of attendance (regular, cameo, side-character)
- Story of your job in a briefing (How did your character become a Thief and what has he done as a THF since before meeting the group IC. Be brief and save details for the Profile section)
- As a Thief in the RP group (write what have you done with the group IC that would have to do with your job.)
- What will you do in the future (write little spoilers of plans regarding your job so that others know and won't anticipate you.)
- Appearance (describe the standard look of your character, or post pics)

For the readers:
If you find some of the needed informations are missing, please try and contact the specific character in-game for details. ^^

To be an interesting, intriguing, well-written character, there needs to be something to allow the audience to relate to them. That is what the problem is with who wants their character to be "perfect". Perfect characters will never be strong, and strong characters will never be perfect, because WE (those who read, who watch, who RP) are not perfect.

"What makes a strong character is how they deal with their flaws, their fears, their turmoils, their troubles that get in the way. That's what makes them relatable." – Doug Walker

Name: Cire

Model: Hume M 2A

Link to Profile: None.

In which part of RP will you be a Thief: Occasionally.

Type of attendance: Cameo.

Story of your job in a briefing: Cire trained his thievery skills while working for the Tenshodo.

As a Thief in the RP group: Cire has assisted Avina and her group through Rise of the Zilart, Bastok and Windurst missions. To ensure the safe of the group he wouldn't hesitate showing up as anything the situation would require, offering his multi-tasking services as a Monk, White Mage, Ninja, Thief and Summoner.

What will you do in the future: Unknown. After saving Windurst, Cire decided he'd stay in town for some time to train and help the citizens.

Appearance: Varies.

Name: Avina

Model: Hume F 3B

Link to Profile:

In which part of RP will you be a Thief: Fairly regular.

Type of attendance: Regular

Story of your job in brief: Avina practiced with many different fighting styles before taking up Dark Knight, but following the conclusion of the Bastok storyline and Avina's growing desire to free herself from the job she began to develop some of the roguish characteristics of a Thief/Treasure Hunter character.

As a Thief in the RP group: As a Thief, Avina does not follow the antagonistic/sneaky lowlife character that the job implies… she functions as a Thief primarily as a Thief against beastmen and also a treasure hunter, taking back the spoils that the Beastmen lords hold.

Thief is currently Avina's 'casual wear' job. She is often dressed her thief gear due to the lightness of the clothes and this makes it easier for traveling long distances, and it is also a very versatile style and a good job against most of the challenges she comes across.

She became a 'main' Thief during the Windurst storyline and this continues to this day.

Appearance: Currently favors the Assassin's attire set, however in the future this will change as she acquires different pieces.

Use in the future: As Avina is a multi-job character the amount of usage her job as Thief is is hard to determine, but I expect her to use the job fairly regularly as her 'lighter gear' self. Avina as a Thief is emblematic of her 'adventurer spirit' of raiding dungeons and escaping with treasure, and she uses it more when she is more optimistic.
