Subject: Random social, Adventurer's Appreciation Campaign

Date: Sunday 5/16/2010 @ 12:00 PM EST (I realize now posting this that our RP has been going on for well more than a year… congratulations everyone :D)

Summary:

A short but nonetheless fun session. Started out with Avina traveling to the Hall of the Gods to attempt to find another way to pass through the cermet grate, by using other crystals she found near Ro'maeve. Her efforts were met without success, and consumed with frustation she vented her anger at the situation towards the Altana statue, about how she had never wished for the fate of the world to hang on her and her friends' shoulders, preventing her from living the normal life of an adventurer she had hoped for. Feeling a little embarrassed for yelling at a statue alone, she uses a scroll of Instant Warp and returns to Bastok.

While she was away in Hall of the Gods, Kenjii was hard at work at the Steaming Sheep attempting to discover a way to artificially replicate the crystal they needed, when he was interrupted by a very fancily dressed Falgor (Dinner suit). After expressing shock at seeing Falgor wearing clothes other than his regular Blue Mage gear, the two sit down and discuss the possibilities of replicating such a crystal. As Avina returns, now wearing her own Dinner Suit, Falgor compliments her in it while suggesting she'd look pretty in Opaline. Kenjii points out that this sounds like Falgor is making a pass on Avina, and drama ensues. After Kenjii departs to go work on his crystal idea again, Avina laments about how she doesn't feel like she deserves an adventurer's appreciation campaign, since all their actions have only served to further the Zilart's plans. Falgor tries to comfort her, but his attempts are shut down by the appearance of the terrifying Ayuki, who claims that Avina is trying to steal Kenjii again. After some bickering Avina decides to retire for the day (and pretty much the rest followed).
